Shifts / Hours: 08:00 - 16:30pm Monday to Friday - Roughly 2-3 month cover

Our client is an international manufacturer and distributor of breakfast cereals. Our client is growing company with many opportunities in a new purpose-built site based in Orton Southgate, Peterborough. The site operates 24/7 so work is over 7 days withthe majority of work over the weekdays.
- Main duties and responsibilities:_
- Provide support to Operators, Managers and Leaders, escalating quality, food safety or legality issues, and deputise for Quality Manager when appropriate
- To maintain compliance through auditing Provide quality analysis by taste panel for the products produced
- Work on traceability exercises when/if required
- Ensure sampling requirements are met and submissions are carried out in a timely manner
- Sorting of non-conformances
- Support new & existing launches by managing quality parameters
- Required skills:_
- Good communication skills (verbal & written), problem solving skills with a logical approach
- Good level of computer literacy (Word and Excel are Essential)
- Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload to ensure that all work is completed in time and in full
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Confident in being able to challenge, and maintain product quality, safety and legality
- Professionalism when presenting the business during external or supplier audits
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team
- Accuracy and attention to detail with knowledge of risk assessments
