Our client, a well-established developer, based in Edinburgh has a requirement for an Architectural Technician, to join their housing division.Reporting to the Design Manager, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of detailed designand construction information throughout the build process.

**Key Requirements of the Role**

- Undertake detailed design drawings for developments and house types using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Have a good knowledge of the Planning procedures, Building Regulations, NHBC standards and
the overall technical process.
- Provide technical support to the site-based construction and sales teams.
- Secure, manage and review external supplier information.
- Ensure all NHBC registrations are secured and conditions are discharged in
a timely manner.
- Preparation of legal plans (e.g. plot disposition plans).
- Liaise with company solicitor and other legal parties.
- Preparation of site sales plans, factor plans, etc.
- House Type design and detailing.
- Preparation of “as built “drawings in relation to plots, sites, and adoption processes.
- Attend all internal, site and progress meetings, as required

- Previous experience as an Architectural Technician
- Experience in residential architecture and UK housing design.
- Computer literate with excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of the current Building Regulations and NHBC Standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
