**The Benefits** Main Purpose of Job**

The **POS Production and Print Artworker **is responsible for the proactive planning, execution, and project management of the company's POS Implementation Process. This role will actively take the brief from a Brand Manager, prioritise it and drive it through the POS process, creating in-house POS and liaising with the Creative POS Manager where new creative is needed. You will engage internal and external stakeholders to design, print & deliver compelling POS materials in-store based on approved brand guidelines. Working hands-on at pace, with a keen eye for detail, you will have an instinctive knowledge of how to effectively communicate to customers through POS collateral. Using templates and brand principles, you will be creating POS materials for Brand Campaigns in our stores to support promotional campaigns. You will also manage any requests for further POS from stores and coordinate the stock storage with the incumbent print supplier.

Assisting on ad hoc activity when needed.

**The Role**

**MAIN DUTIES**:
**Planning**:

- Drive the Implementation process for POS production across SSP Brands and key stakeholders
- Provide print costs & deadlines to commercial managers, developing Rate Cards as appropriate
- Advise on most appropriate print volumes to manage print cost and stock storage levels
- Be the key contact for the incumbent print supplier to deliver projects in the most cost & time efficient manner and support in line with their requirements

**Implementation**:

- Manage the print briefs for the Commercial Marketing team within agreed timescales and costs delivering required collateral to units right first time and communicating any obstacles that would prevent delivering on schedule
- Work closely alongside in house design team to confirm print specifications needed and production timings.
- Own the print allocations process to ensure the right collateral is delivered to the right unit for campaign launch
- Implementation and maintenance of unit profiling alongside our incumbent printer, building a secure database for accurate delivery of print campaigns.

- Develop new artwork and update current template artwork as appropriate based on existing brand guidelines
- Ensure that all proofs are reviewed and approved through online briefing portal
- Oversee unit level POS ordering portal maintenance and layout and availability

**The Details** Evaluating**:

- Advise the Commercial team on correct ways of using POS (‘what good looks like’) the materials available and how to ‘think creatively’ whilst developing their plans
- Identify and help develop innovative solutions for displaying POS which helps create improved customer communication
- Reporting to the Traffic Manager regularly on production status and flag any potential risks
