Receptionist

The Role
To provide a competent service to the premises in compliance with the contract service levels for postal, telephony, reception and other administrative duties such as room bookings and organising facilities in accordance with bookings.
Day to Day
- Receive visitors and deliveries as required and direct to relevant person/department
- Operate the telephone switchboard and direct calls to the appropriate person/department.
- Undertake general office duties as may from time to time be required, including but not limited to photocopying, word processing, process incoming/outgoing mail and management of data bases.
- Monitor stationary stocks/consumables and process stationary/consumable orders.
- Act as principal point of contact between the PCT and the Facilities Management Helpdesk and operate, maintain a computer-based facilities management system.
- Liaise and coordinate facilities maintenance activities with site services operatives, engineers, and contractors,
- Undertake any other job-related duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
- A person with a good telephone manner and excellent interpersonal skills with customer focus, with an excellent command of written and spoken English
- Competent user of telephone systems and computer software, i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to mulit-task and deal with people of all types.
