Are you someone who thrives on helping and supporting people...If so, we have the job for you An exciting job opportunity has arisen in our Administration department within the inpatient Mental Health admin team. We work in conjunction with The Mental Health clinical teams supporting them with all their secretarial/administration needs.
We are searching for someone who is patient focused, striving to give every patient who they interact with in the service to the right care and support they require. Providing excellent Administration support which will include, Planning weekly ward rounds for AMH patients. Sending out MDT invitations and record notes for the patient plan which is then forwarded on to junior doctors to upload into RIO.
This is the perfect post for anyone who has previous experience within an administration role or knowledge of Mental health services however it is not essential as full training is provided. We are looking for someone who is a great team player but can also work independently, with great communication skills and the ability to be flexible, adapt and prioritise to ensure quality care is fully focused on.
**Main duties, tasks & skills required**:
The team provides an essential service to the clinical Mental health teams. Your role would include attending MDT ward rounds to ensure all actions are recorded accurately and distributed to the team. They also Plan and send out invites and agenda to MOD nurse. Then forward MOD ward round template to junior doctors. Liaise Regularly with MOD Bed Manager. These ensure the highest level of service is provided to all.
Current operating hours are 9am till 5pm are then made up of flexible shifts, and done on fair allocation amongst the team. We will always consider applicants flexibility and this role can be a mixture of office based and home working. Current hours are 34.5 per week over 5 days.

The transformation will happen in staggered stages; Hampshire CAMHS, part of Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust joined Southern Health in February 2024, with Isle of Wight NHS Trust mental health and community services transitioning in early May 2024. The final combination of Southern Health and Solent Trusts is anticipated to occur in July 2024, when the new organisation will be formed.
Our new Trust will continue to cater to the unique needs of different communities, making healthcare across the county more accessible, as well as offering staff more opportunities for career development, training and partnership working.
