Long Covid Rehab Co-ordinator

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or registered Nurse to be part of supporting the development and implementation of Fife’s Post Covid rehabilitation pathways.

Two individuals working part time to cover the week would be ideal and to ensure continuity over planned leave periods will be essential, therefore excellent communication and organisational skills are required. Using advanced clinical, analytical and decision making skills your primary responsibility will be to ensure the coordination of the individuals’ rehabilitation pathway. Offering advice and support to ward teams, acting as the expert in rehabilitation services across Fife and advising on the most suitable pathway as part of onward rehabilitation will form a key responsibility in this role.

This diverse yet challenging role will see you work as part of a collaborative team across multi professionals and a variety of departments as you develop and support seamless patient-centred care, with a particular focus on rehabilitation.

You will be based centrally at Glenrothes Hospital and will be managed by the Intermediate Care Manager as part of the wider ICASS (Integrated Community Assessment and Support Service).

Applications on a secondment basis will be considered providing you have prior agreement from your current line manager.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
