**About the Role**

Here at Babcock International Group in Rosyth, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior Buyer to join our team. We aim to deliver engineering-led and world-leading products and services across our Engineering, Specialised Manufacturing, Gas HandlingSystems and Naval Marine business streams. In this role, you will be responsible for managing long term procurement supplier relationships from the design to the completion phase across our various projects such as Arrowhead. Moreover, you will be tasked withthe purchasing of high value goods and services, amongst utilising your procurement experience through the handling of other more complex tenders and purchasing situations. Knowledge of ITT, RFQ's, Value Plans and Rebates will be essential for the completionof tasks associated with this role.

**What do I need to do the role?**

Procurement Practitioner with knowledge of current operational procurement techniques (essential)

Experience with ERP systems, e.g. IFS, SAP, ORACLE - including exposure to latest e-procurement systems capability (essential)

5+ years procurement experience (highly desirable)

You should hold or have the ability to obtain full SC clearance
