- Software Quality Team Leader
- Principle Software Quality Engineer
- Senior Software Quality Engineer/s

- These roles will be based across of a range of Leonardo Business Products within our Edinburgh facility: working directly with our engineering teams and with our internal project teams and customers. You will be an integral member of the Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)Focussing on:
- creation and maintenance of software quality assurance plans in accordance with contractual conditions and company standards
- estimating software quality assurance resources required to support projects
- assessing ability of subcontracted companies to perform software development to required standards
- assessing projects for compliance with software development plans and processes
- be fully aware and engaged with the IPT risks and opportunities
- reviewing software plans, requirements, design, test specifications, and test results
- participating in software lifecycle reviews
- auditing software development activities
- performing software conformity reviews and physical/functional configuration audits
- verifying the release of deliverable software

We are open to flexible ways of working for these roles between on site in Edinburgh and remote.Security Clearance**What we are looking for**:

- experience of working with the development and acquisition of software
- knowledge of development lifecycles of software
- significant experience of systematically evaluating the work of others
- knowledge of software development standards, e.g. AQAP-2210, AS9115, DO-178C / ED-12C
- knowledge of quality system standards, e.g. AQAP-2110, AS9100D, ISO 9001
- experience performing the software quality assurance role as defined in DO-178C / ED-12C, or IEEE Std 730-2014
- experience of reviewing software work products
- experience of software process compliance auditing, and software physical/functional configuration auditing
- experience of working in a quality assurance discipline within a design and manufacturing or similar environment preferably in the Defence, Aviation or Automotive Industry
- knowledge and experience of the standards and development of complex electronic hardware, e.g. DO-254**Life at Leonardo**:
