Goods in

P W Gates Distribution Ltd is currently recruiting Goods in Warehouse Operative at our Bedford Wixams site.

**Duties and Key Responsibilities**:
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

- Ensuring the rework is carried out correctly and in a timely fashion.
- Assigning aisles for stock to go away and planning with the Team Leader on who will put the goods away, Running pallets into aisles for put away.
- Complete Goods In check list for all inbound loads.
- Conducting quality checks on incoming goods to ensure they meet our standards.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Cross over with mid-shift and liaise with mid-shift Team Leader.
- Must be competent using WMS systems training with be provided
- Must have PPT/Counterbalance, VNA license will be an advantage
- Must be a team player and a good communicator
- A good attitude and a willingness to get stuck in and work as a team reporting directly to the Goods IN (team leader/supervisor)
- Good attention to detail is a must, you will be required to check all inbound loads against GRN’s and flag any discrepancies to your supervisor.
- Must be a forward thinker and have the ability to work in an FMCG environment
- Must have experience of inbound containers (palletized or handball)
- Must be fully competent in loading and unloading vehicles using PPT
- Minimum of 3+ years Warehouse experience.

**Shifts Available**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

Day Shift: 08:00 - 17:00 - with 1 hour break

Immediate start

**Salary**: £24,500 + bonus rising to £26,500 on completion of 3 month probation period.

Pay: £24,500.00-£26,500.00 per year
