**Ethorpe Hotel is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to join our team at our newly renovated hotel in Gerrards Cross.**

We are looking for somebody with passion and enthusiasm who wants to help create the perfect food experience for our guests. This is a job that creates a pathway to a food career that is limitless.

As a Kitchen Team Member, you will prepare food and other items to order, work as part of a team with other kitchen staff, and provide assistance to your manager. You will work under the supervision of a manager.

Job Duties:

- Prepare food items to order, following recipe using proper preparation methods, such as weighing ingredients and checking for errors. Clean equipment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash. Assist other staff members as needed. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and following proper storage and cleaning procedures. Store inventory properly. Follow all health and safety regulations and safety standards. Work as part of a team with other kitchen staff members.
- Perform opening and closing tasks on the day shift as assigned by the manager or chef.
- Perform opening and closing tasks on the weekend as assigned by the manager or chef.
- Assist other kitchen staff members as needed during shifts.
- Perform opening and closing tasks on the weekdays as assigned by the manager or chef.
- Follow opening and closing shift schedules for each day of the week.
- Open and close the kitchen as needed on a weekly basis, including cleaning duties when necessary. Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked properly at all times to ensure that the kitchen area is cleaned each day. Ensure that all food prep areas are clean at all times throughout the day. Keeps the work area clean at all times. Keeps restrooms clean at all times including but not limited to sinks drains toilets etc, Ensure that proper food handling procedures are followed in all areas of kitchen.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship
Part-time hours: 30-35 per week

**Salary**: £7.46-£11.64 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
