A four star hotel in the centre in South Kensington and Knightsbridge, The Rembrandt offers 194 luxurious bedrooms, 6 flexible event suites, a newly renovated restaurant and bar, and Aquilla Health and Fitness. Placed just across the road from London's Victoria and Albert Museum, The Rembrandt is located in a superb area, just steps from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Hyde Park, Harrods and the Royal Albert Hall. Do you have at least 2 year's reception experience in similar hotel environment, with knowledge of corporate & leisure market, ideally with some previous supervisory experience? If so this could be the new challenge you are looking for.

£600 Reward - join us and you can receive a £300 Welcome payment in months 3 and 6 of employment.

Our Front Office Receptionists are the first and last personal contact most guests have with the hotel and they are key to ensuring the guests stay gets off to a great start and finishes smoothly. Working in this face to face role means you are a confident and well-presented individual with a warm way with people. Shift Leaders are in charge of running the Reception desk in the absence of the manager and ideally will have knowledge of both corporate and leisure markets and some previous supervisory experience.

**As a Reception Shift Leader you will have...**
- At least 2 years reception experience in a similar hotel environment ideally with supervisory responsibilities.
- Good knowledge of working with a computerised PMS, ideally Opera
- Self-motivation and be able to motivate the team to deliver
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members to develop the teams skills
- The ability to take extra responsibility when needed and be able to work under pressure
- Excellent Customer service experience and the confidence to resolve customer enquiries effectively
- Excellent written and spoken English with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis across seven days, mornings and evenings as required.

**What will I be doing as a Reception Shift Leader?**
- Providing a warm, friendly welcome and efficient service to our guests throughout their stay.
- Assisting guests with checking in and out of the hotel and demonstrating excellent product & local knowledge
- Supervising and motivating the reception team to maintain efficient standards of customer service at all times through constant on the job coaching and training.
- Supporting the Reception Manager in monitoring rotas & breaks to ensure staffing levels meet business needs.
- Assisting with holiday cover for the night team
- Working with team members and managers to ensure a smooth service and high team morale.
