**Job Purpose**:
This role will lead the activities to implement automation of financial data for internal and external reporting in line with local and Munich Re Group reporting requirements for HSBEIL. This role will involve the co-ordination of activities between Finance sub teams and Business Intelligence & Analytics (BIA) team, including other stakeholders across the Company.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement the Company’s Finance data automation project plan, adjusting as necessary to meet the requirements of the business. This will include the coordination of resources to support the implementation of solutions to achieve automation of production of various internal and external reporting required by the company for the UK and Ireland.
- Act as key liaison with BIA collaborating with key stakeholders to effectively coordinate activity in accordance with the project objectives including effective communication of progress towards project goals.
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting to the External Reporting Manager and Director of Finance of progress towards project goals.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate risks or issues quickly to the Director of Finance/External Reporting Manager and other stakeholders.
- Work with others teams in HSBEIL to support the effective implementation of the finance data automation, ensuring key concerns of users of internal management information across the business are understood and considered within output, presented in accordance with technical requirements particularly Solvency II (PRA and CBI reporting) and UK GAAP.
- Ensure process solutions are as efficient as possible and are also fit for purpose for local reporting. This will include identifying opportunities to maximise automation to reduce resource strain arising from manual workarounds.
- Documentation of key technical decisions and process documentation.
- Successful handover to BAU team with sufficient training in the processes for producing the required reporting.

- Previous project management experience
- Confidence working with large datasets.
- Excellent MS office skills
- Good understanding of SUN
- Previous experience and knowledge of General insurance
- Previous experience working on Solvency II
