MBA are proud to partner one of Cheshire's most innovative technology organisations in their search for an experienced Full Stack Developer Node, AdonisJs, Vanilla JS / React on a permanent basis.
Hybrid working between Cheshire & Remote (Can be based fully remote if required due to logistics)
Overview:
Full Stack developer with a passion for building products that customers love. You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out high-end enterprise digital solutions in a growing market sector.
We're looking for individuals who want to make a difference. Individuals who like to use their initiative, like to problem solve and who consistently deliver high quality output.
- Development of user-facing elements and backend RESTful APIs
- Using Node, AdonisJs and Vanilla JS / React.
- Writing reusable, testable and efficient code and isolated components
- Implementation of security and data protection Collaborating with Software Engineering team, QA team and Project Managers in an Agile environment
- Integration of user-facing elements developed by frontend developers with server-side logic
- Integration of big data solutions
Technologies & Skillset
- Experience with either AWS (RDS, Elastic beanstalk, Lambda, EC2)
- Understanding of frontend technologies, such as React, HTML5, CSS3.
- Experience with task runners and bundling tools such as Gulp, Grunt, Webpack.
- Strong abilities in Node.js and frameworks available for it (Apollo, Express, Next.js and AdonisJS)
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming
- Strong understanding of DRY principles, code reuse and isolated components
- Strong understanding of writing performant code
- Proven experience of integration (API, FTP, webhook) and troubleshooting
- Proven experience developing RESTful APIs
- Experience using databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redshift, Postgres
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- User authentication and authorisation between multiple systems, servers and environments
- Understanding the differences between synchronous and asynchronous requests
- Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs. desktop, and optimising output to match the specific platform
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
- Understanding of Agile and sprint-based development
- Experience using Jira & Confluence
Desirable Skills:

- Experience using Redux with React
- Experience writing Java 6/7
- Experience using Spring framework
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Understanding of Adobe XD, Photoshop, Sketch
- Understanding of Unix Command Line, Bash, CRON
- Understanding of GDPR compliance
- Experience with Postman or similar
