Play worker wanted for after-school club. Wednesdays & Thursdays 2.45 to 5.45. Term-time only.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and engage with children during play activities
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for children to play and learn
- Plan and organize age-appropriate games, crafts, and activities
- Assist with snack time and ensure dietary restrictions are followed
- Monitor children's behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a positive atmosphere
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise

Qualifications:

- Previous experience working with children in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Nursery: 1 year (preferred)
- Nursery experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Gosforth, NE3 1EB (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Gosforth, NE3 1EB: Relocate before starting work (required)
