Job Summary:
We are seeking a support worker to work with a male with complex needs.
We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide compassionate care and assistance to this individuals needs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- To act as a guide to the person who has an acquired brain injury
- Administer medications following prescribed guidelines. Administration through clients peg.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Transport clients to appointments or outings as needed using clients own car
- Document client progress and any changes in their condition
- assist with ordering of medication, food, dressings and completing stock checks
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in senior care, patient support, or related fields is preferred
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols
- Familiarity with providing care in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings is a plus
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
**Skills**:
- Experience in providing care, particularly in working with complex needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to use technology in order to complete daily logs and records

Shift: day shifts are 9am-5pm night shifts are 1.30pm-11pm sleep 7am-9.30am
Education: NVQ in health and social care
Experience: support work minimum 1 year (required)

Work authorisation: United Kingdom (required)
Ability to Commute: Rainhill (required)

Pay: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
