**About the role**

We're excited to be recruiting for **Assessment Associates** to write, review and scrutinise external assessments within our **Science team **in the following qualification:

- T Level Technical Qualification in Healthcare Science, Health and Science Core paper B. This paper focuses on the Biology, Chemistry and Physics knowledge required in the job role

As an
**Assessment Associate** your duties and responsibilities will include:

- Producing assessment content (question papers/tasks and mark schemes) that meet NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements
- Reviewing assessment content (question papers/tasks and mark schemes) to ensure that it meets NCFE qualification and assessment specification requirements
- Submitting assessment content in the required format, within agreed timescales
- Ensuring assessment content meets all commissioning instructions, as agreed with the Assessment Production Officer
- Providing additional assessment content as required, including document/image sources and details of copyright permission, as required
- Attending paper review panel days and training sessions, as required (online)
- Liaising with Chief Examiners, Scrutineers and Assessment Production Officers

**We'd love to hear from you if you offer the following**:

- Experience of working in Physics, Biology or Chemistry focused roles
- Experience of writing and/or reviewing external assessment materials
- Examining experience desirable
- Experience working or teaching in the science sector desirable
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Physics, Biology or Chemistry. Multiple specialisms would be ideal
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work accurately and consistently, and at times to tight timescales
