An administrator is required to join a finance company in the Preston area
**Your new company**
A TOP-50 finance based company with offices all over the north west (Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool and Lancaster) who offer flexible hybrid working.
**Your new role**
The Role (Key responsibilities)
- Liaison with insurance companies.
- Production of client valuations and preparation of review packs.
- Booking appointments and scheduling meetings.
- Dealing with calls from clients/product providers.
- Obtaining illustrations and quotations.
- Ensuring documentation is fully prepared, pre and post advice.
- Ensuring client database is kept up to date.
- The individual will be working directly with Consultants and our Technical Support team, to deliver first class client service to clients, in a compliant manner.

**What you'll need to succeed**
Experience, Skills and Qualifications required
- Experience of working as a financial planning administrator.
- Experience of providing excellent client service.
- Highly numerate.
- IT literate
- Ability to communicate well both written and verbally.
- Good letter writing skills and telephone manner.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Understanding of working within a highly regulated environment and complying with FCA regulatory requirements.

Desirable but not essential
- Experience of using Xplan

Person specification:

- Highly organised.
- Someone who is confident to speak up, with diplomacy and tact.
- Able to effectively manage own workload and work well under pressure, prioritising effectively.
- Motivated self-starter able to work well on own initiative but also able to work effectively as part of the wider team and willing to help out others, or get involved in special projects, as appropriate, for the good of the department.
- Excellent attention to detail - takes pride in their work and wants to operate at the highest of standards.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and self-improvement and willingness to contribute ideas and provide assistance, both in helping to identify areas where our process could be improved/made more efficient and in adapting our processes to reactive changes causedby regulatory requirements.
- Quick learner - ability to learn quickly and have a thirst for knowledge and self development.
