Production Planner

**Job Description**:
Opportunity is around the corner with Pertemps as we're seeking a dedicated Production Planner to join our client in Horncastle. You will be working for a market leader in their industry who specialises in manufacturing tables. As a Production Planner, you will be an integral part of the production team, overseeing production orders, and working closely with the Production Manager.

**How much will I be earning?**
Starting salary is £28,000 p/a / £14.50 per hour approx.

**What hours will I be working?**
Monday to Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM

**What will I be doing?**
- Work with the manufacturing team and internal customers maintain production schedules.- Raise accurate and timely production orders.- Monitor production requirements, highlighting demand, shortages, and priorities to the purchasing team.- Utilize data analysis skills to juggle datasets, optimizing production planning processes.- Ensure accuracy in production documentation and schedules.- Generate reports on production performance highlighting areas on improvement.- Work alongside all departments within the business across numerous projects.**What we are looking for**:

- Proven experience in production planning within a manufacturing environment.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.- Experience with ERP systems for production planning and scheduling.This is a permanent Production Planner’s position which is advertised by Pertemps who operate as an employment agency.
