**The Role**: As a Barista at Red Hill Coffee, your role extends beyond crafting perfect brews. You'll be a key player in navigating the ebb and flow of our busy café, from the early morning rush of the school-run hustle to the local residents and WFH contingent. Understanding the unique needs of each demographic, whether it's a quick espresso for a builder in a hurry or a warm, welcoming space for parents after the school run, is essential. Your ability to meet and revel in these moments of bustle, while maintaining high standards of service and quality, is what will set us apart.

**Responsibilities**:

- Master the art of coffee-making, ensuring each cup meets Red Hill Coffee’s standards, no matter how busy it gets.
- Anticipate and adapt to the changing pace of the day, from the morning rush to the quieter moments.
- Engage with a diverse clientele, understanding their preferences and making everyone feel welcome.
- Maintain a clean and inviting environment, even during peak hours.
- Efficiently handle transactions and manage the POS system.
- Contribute to inventory management and the smooth running of the café.

**About You**:

- You thrive in bustling environments and can switch gears as the café moves from one rush hour to the next.
- Passionate about coffee, with a keen interest in learning more about what we serve and how we serve it.
- Experience in a customer-facing role is ideal, showcasing your ability to connect and communicate effectively.
- A team player who values collaboration and can support the team through busy periods.
- Flexible and adaptable, with availability that matches our peak times.
