**About the role**
We are seeking an exceptional Recovery Coordinator to join the Newcastle Treatment and Recovery Team. Newcastle Treatment and Recovery is the Drug and Alcohol Service in Newcastle. As a Recovery Coordinator, you will provide holistic support to adult service users and coordinate their drug treatment, including assessment, recovery coordination, PSI delivery, and multi-agency working.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Team Manager and other members of the team to develop comprehensive and tailored individual interventions for service users.
- Undertake comprehensive assessments of service users and develop recovery plans that take into account the service user's goals and aspirations.
- Coordinate drug treatment plans for service users, ensuring that they receive the appropriate level of support and intervention.
- Provide support to service users in accessing education, employment, and training opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with partner agencies to provide a seamless and effective service to service users.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service users' progress and provide regular reports to the Team Manager.

**Requirements**:

- A thorough understanding of the issues and challenges facing service users with drug and alcohol problems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with partner agencies.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
