**Description**

You will be overseeing and managing the purchase ledger team, which is a team of 7 Purchase Ledger Clerks. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

- Overseeing the processing of invoices
- Processing purchase invoices from cradle to grave
- Reconciling the purchase ledger, supplier statements and pro-forma invoices
- Reconciling the trade balance report and the direct debit payments to suppliers
- Making bank payments to suppliers
- Providing the team with training, support and direction
- Improving processes

**Profile**

**Job Offer**

The role is offering:

- A salary between £30,000 and £32,000
- 30 days holiday including bank holidays, which increases to 36 days with service
- Discretionary bonus (twice per year), which are generally c. 65% of 1 week's wage
- Retail discounts

- A 37.5 hour working week

- Working hours of 8:30 - 17:00 but there is the potential for some flexibility
