This is a brand new role to join our growing team that will partner with Airwallex employees and managers across the EMEA region. You will provide tactical and strategic expert guidance and data-driven insights to help people leaders achieve growth objectives and drive a high performance, engaged culture. This is an ideal role for someone who likes to build things from the ground up, take on key projects and likes to execute. By forming effective relationships with people across the business you will drive forward new initiatives, resolve blockers to success and advocate for improvements at both a local and global level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be the People Partner working closely with multiple department leaders in EMEA
- Partner with and coach managers to build high performing and engaged teams
- Provide coaching on matters including leadership development, employee engagement, performance management, career development
- Ensure that any employee relations issues are identified, reported, investigated and resolved
- Reduce risk and ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management and understand when to escalate issues
- Partner with the People Team across the globe to gain alignment on people philosophy and programs where achievable, and localise programs as needed
- Participate in performance reviews and help identify and develop talent throughout the organisation

**What you bring**:

- Previous experience of working as a HR Generalist/HRBP
- Strong UK employment law knowledge is essential, and employment law knowledge in Amsterdam, Lithuania and Israel is preferred
- Experience in a fast-growth or start-up environment, and comfortable working with ambiguity and changing priorities is desirable
- Ability to rise to any challenge and bring thought leadership
- Have a solution based mindset, with the ability to identify problems and drive high impact initiatives
- Demonstrated success partnership alignment to build and improve company culture and increase employee engagement
- Discretion and sound judgement when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Very strong EQ, with fine tuned instincts and problem-solving skills.
