**Job Description Summary**: The Inspector works closely with other members of the Warehouse & Logistics Team to ensure accurate

and efficient material throughput (Dock to Stock) in support of manufacturing production cells. This role

has a strong emphasis on Inspecting product in line with the company’s Quality Management System.

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Support Receiving / Warehousing Team in daily Dock to Stock Processing.
- Accurately receive, verify, process and receipt goods to the business system
- Process inspection results in line with Quality database
- Inspect product for: FOD, Corrosion, Burrs, Paint Chips, Scratches & visible contamination as per drawing requirements
- Collaborate with Engineering / Supplier Quality / Sourcing
- Control material and documents in accordance with business Quality Procedures
- Review areas of perceived risk based on experience and non-conformance history
- Report and process any non-conforming parts in line with Quality procedures

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Experience of inspecting Supplied Parts through a Quality Inspection tool.
- Ideally apprentice-trained in a mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent
- Experience in mechanical measuring and verification to drawings
- Experience in visual inspection of circuit boards and electronic components
- Working knowledge of material handling requirements eg. ESD, HazMat, MSD
- Good attention to detail
- A flexible and adaptable to business requirements
- Appreciation of health and safety practice in the workplace
- PC literate - experienced in using various systems
- Confident in liaising with various key stakeholders (internal and external)

**Desired Characteristics**:

- Able to demonstrate an understanding of Aerospace Material Handling and controls
