This vacancy is to work within our busy Head Office in Chester-le-Street. Duties will include payroll and purchase ledger where you will be working alongside other members of the team

**Responsibilities**

Processing and completing payroll using sage including SMP, SSP, Pension and any other associated tasks. This would include but not be exhaustive to checking timesheets, monitoring absence and dealing with personnel issues

Typing letters and minutes when required.

Upload pension to the providers portal and complete weekly RTI submissions

Process purchase invoices on sage 50 accurately ensuring all queries are dealt with promptly

Matching orders and delivery notes to invoices aswell as checking charges

Reconciling supplier statements and arranging payments

You must have a proactive attitude and be able to work to deadlines

Experience with payroll and purchase ledger are desirable but not essential

**Salary**: £21,450.00-£25,350.00 per year
