**Junior Insurance Broker (International Casualty)**

The role would suit individuals from customer services backgrounds who ideally have a knowledge and understanding of the insurance market, and an understanding of broking.

**We will count on you to**:

- Distribute underwriting submissions to Insurers/Reinsurers and follow up for quotes
- Make sure all binders have been signed, sent to retail/producing offices and fronting company prior to coverage taking effect
- Request / provide Reinsurance Certificates from retail/producing offices to provide to Insurers/Reinsurers
- Execute standard endorsement requests from retail/producing offices to Insurers/Reinsurers
- Put together placement and claims information for submission to London back-office
- Handle matters regarding premium billing and reconciliation for the Client and Insurers/Reinsurers
- Handle basic communications with retail/producing offices and with underwriters
- Effective control and management of internal targets in respect of Workflow/Contract Certainty/Premium Warranties/Payments/MRCE Workflow/Late Signings
- Monitoring and tracking of MRCE documents
- Broking of MRCEs/alterations identified within the de-broke/tidy process

**What you need to have**:

- Excellent interpersonal skills, ideally with experience of dealing with internal and external clients
- An interest in improving service and performance
- The ability to understand the needs and objectives of internal and external clients and execute accordingly
- The flexibility to adapt different approaches or styles to situations
- Ability to plan prioritise and complete work within strict timeframes
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to cope with cyclical nature of the business
