Twilight Years provide support to people within the Kendal, Lakes and surrounding area as well as the Barrow-in-Furness & Carlisle areas, our staff are dedicated in ensuring our service users can remain independent for as long as possible maximising their choice and control throughout.

**FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE PREFERRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL.**

**What you need to know**:

- All our service users we support are always treated as an individual, they are encouraged to remain independent and have an input in their care plan to include their own choices whilst ensuring their safety is never compromised.
- The range of support include personal care, medication administration, shopping, and companionship.

**Requirements for the role**:

- Staff who are Caring, empathetic and respectful.
- Staff who are flexible to the needs of the service.
- Undertake an enhanced DBS check.
- Must be aged 18 or above.

We at Twilight Years, support over 250 service users in the Furness and South Lakes areas as well as further afield. We ensure our staff promote choice and independence following a person-centred approach to enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of all service users.

As a Home Care service provider, we offer our Home Care Workers an excellent hourly rate to ensure they remain committed and dedicated to the role they have promised to undertake with a full induction program incorporating extensive online training along with opportunities to further develop their knowledge to enhance individual professional development. You will be a part of a highly trained and dedicated team delivering the care and support to some of the most vulnerable people within your community of which is a very rewarding position.

**Job Purpose Summary**:
You will provide high quality person-centred care supporting people in their own home, the post requires you to work flexibly, and this includes evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. As a Home Care Worker, you are undertaking one of the most important roles in the community; you will be helping other people to retain as much independence as possible and providing this is not an easy skill, sensitivity and kindness is extremely important.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: £14.50 per hour
