**Contract : 9 month Maternity cover of 18 hours per week - please see work pattern below**

**Location: Stockport, Manchester**

**Salary: £12,930 per annum (£25,860 FTE)**

**Qualifications**:2-3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.**

This is a great role for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who will lead the delivery of support of our weekly wellbeing groups for young people and endeavour to show them a great time whilst offering an abundance of support. This is a fun and rewarding role with a mix of home working, weekly session delivery and trips.

You will become a key member of the Kids Manchester team for an established and well-respected charity who has a great reputation within the sector. You will work with a fantastic team of highly motivated individuals who love what they do.

**What you’ll be doing as a Coordinator**:

- To manage practitioners and sessional workers in the delivery of the weekly wellbeing session.
- Work with young disabled people to plan activities and workshops with an emphasis on the five steps to mental wellbeing ensuring agreed targets and outcomes are met.
- Encourage and support young disabled people to have a say, and be involved in decision making processes.
- Manage staff and volunteers

**Work Pattern**:

- Every Monday evening (term time) 1700-2030 in person
- Trips during school holidays as required
- Admin hours to be worked as agreed with Service Manager for planning sessions, networking, evaluating and other admin jobs as needed.

**Personal Qualities**:

- Significant experience of working with disabled young people and their families. Ability to engage and support Young Disabled People.
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating an activity/group work programme including workshops.
- Problem solving and planning skills.
- Excellent range of communication skills with young disabled people, parents and other professionals.
- Experience of multi-agency working.
- Proven experience of case recording and ability to report against outcomes including writing risk assessments.
