The _**primary role**_ of the CaféServer is to create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for all customers, ensuring their experience is exceptional. Each customer should leave The Daily Scoop having had an excellent experience and talking about the quality of the service they received. It is about talking to them, engaging with them and making sure they want to return time and time again. You understand the impact of delivering great customer service and how it relates to the success of our café and the wider business.

The _**secondary role**_ is to prepare fresh food and drinks, in a coffee shop setting, whilst always maintaining a high standard of service and customer care with a friendly and polite attitude. Ensure the café maintains high standards, delivering excellent food and drink, enticing our customers to make a purchase and ensuring we are compliant and safe.

Qualifications:

- Basic math skills, including the ability to handle cash transactions and make change accurately.
- Previous experience in cash handling or retail math is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Please note that this position may require standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 25 pounds.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
