- As Senior Agent in the Hay-On-Wye Agency you’ll have the opportunity to run and develop an existing business in partnership with an Agent in the NFU Mutual Agency network.

In addition, you’ll be joining an active and loyal NFU branch where you’ll find plenty of growth potential and will further strengthen the bond and elevate your standing in the local community.**About You**:

- Collaborative, positive and supportive, you know how to recruit, reward and develop a strong team to help you achieve your ambitions whilst ensuring all relevant regulations and standards of compliance are met.
- Whilst our existing Agents come from a broad range of backgrounds previous experience in the Insurance industry is highly desirable for the Senior Agent of Hay-On-Wye. Given the core Farming base of the Agency an interest in farming or agriculture is also useful.**NFU / NFU Cymru Senior Group Secretary**:

You'll champion the interests of local farmers, arrange local meetings and events, recruit and retain members and keep them up-to-date on agricultural policy. With full backing from the NFU / NFU Cymru teams, you’ll have access to expert advice and specialist support on everything from policy and increasing membership to marketing and media.
- Combining your duties as an NFU / NFU Cymru Senior Group Secretary with your work as an Agent of NFU Mutual gives you the chance to make the most of new opportunities for your agency, as well as introducing what the NFU / NFU Cymru and NFU Mutual have to offer to a wider audience.
