**Primary Responsibilities**
- Ensure effective environmental, health, safety processes are in place and implemented through the organisation, providing a day to day supporting & advisory role
- Provide competent advice to line management on EH&S issues (incidents, investigations, risk assessments, procedures employee concerns, emergency preparedness and changes affecting EH&S),
- Support EHS Team / Managers to ensure all significant risks are covered by a suitable and sufficient risk assessment process (COSHH, manual handling and ergonomic).
- Ensure EH&S Training (including inductions) are provided, monitored, recorded and delivered internally
- Support in the reporting and investigation of accidents, injuries, dangerous occurrences, near misses and work-related ill health
- Support/participate in workplace EH&S audits and inspections
- Monitor and follow up EH&S actions and prepare monthly performance metrics
- Support EH&S committee meetings and maintain records
- Provide guidance and contribute to the successful implementation of the EHS management programs, aiming to reduce losses to the business and employees
- The Role will be EHS support as required with the majority being administrative

**Key Objectives**
- Supporting EHS department with record keeping
- Oversee site Training Program
- Facilitate OH Medical Appointments
- Raising purchase orders and arranging contracted services (Contractors)
- Managing EHS databases and systems

**Basic Qualifications**
- Full competence in Microsoft Office package (including Sharepoint)
- Ability to manage numerous tasks at one time
- Previous experience in an EHS advisory role
