Our client is seeking a**Payroll & Benefits professional** to join their busy department. You'll be collating and inputting monthly Payroll data in line with company deadlines and assisting with Payroll validations. You will manage the administrationof company benefits and act as first point of contact for both payroll & benefits.

**As a Payroll & Benefits Assistant, your duties will include**:

- Collate and input monthly Payroll data in line with company deadlines
- Assist with Payroll validations and checking
- Administration of company benefits
- Act as a point of contact for Payroll, pension, and benefits queries
- Maintaining data continuity between HR, Payroll and Benefit systems
- Assist with the production of monthly Payroll analysis
- Reconciliation of monthly balance sheets for all company benefits
- Assist with yearly P11d submission
- Liaise with benefit providers as required
- Upload monthly contribution files to the relevant pension providers
- Deliver on business communication strategies relating to pay & benefits
- Accurately collect and file all relevant employee documentation
- Assist with internal and external payroll audits as required
- Issuing new starter contracts and ensuring the onboarding experience is positive for our new staff members
- Taking full ownership for our new starter payroll tracker
- Ensure all employee information is loaded onto our HR system accurately and in a timely manner, this includes visa and probation expiry dates, notice periods and any other information as instructed by the team
- Own all HR System updates including leavers, transfers, salary changes and other changes as requested by the HR team.
- Investigating and resolving payroll queries

**To be successful, you'll need proven experience within a Payroll administration role including answering queries.**

**It is desirable that you**:

- Analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and errors in reporting
- Intermediate or above in excel with VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
