We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our team at Gray & Sons Builders Ltd in Bedford.

You will provide administrative support to both the Commercial & Residential Teams, under the management of the Operations Manager.

To be suitable for the role, you must have previous experience of working in either an Administrative or Secretarial type role, ideally being based in construction but this is not essential.

**Responsibilities**:

- Managing day-to-day administrative tasks within the office.
- Meeting and greeting clients at reception.
- Answering and forwarding internal and external phone calls.
- Consistently maintaining excellent customer service standards by promptly responding to customer enquiries and complaints.
- Sending out tender enquires for the Surveyors & Estimators
- Assisting Senior Management team with clerical tasks.
- Diary & Calendar Management for Senior Team.
- Office Management, including regular H&S monitoring checks, regular food and toiletry shops, organising fire drills and weekly fire alarm checks
- Ordering and keeping track of stationary.
- Receiving, sorting and distributing daily mail/deliveries.
- Taxing work vehicles.
- Creating O&M Manuals for clients.
- Creating presentation folders for meetings.
- Managing and booking events for the company.
- Filing relevant information in employee personnel files, archiving, and vehicle folders.
- Updating Social Media platforms.

Essential Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Accurate eye for detail
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Flexible approach
- Must be a driven individual who is used to working in a team
- Ability to work on their own initiative
- Driving License

Desirable Skills:

- Experience working in construction environment.
