The role holder will work closely with the Whistleblowing Operations Manager to assist with maintaining and developing the whistleblowing programme.

Job Description Summary:

- Supporting the Whistleblowing Operations Manager in promoting the Speak Out programme and dealing with whistleblowing matters including:

- Liaising with whistleblowers and Subjects in a confidential and discreet manner;
- Assisting with the triage and case creation of whistleblowing matters;
- Ensuring that all case records are updated and maintained in accordance with the Speak Out Desk Top Procedures;
- Ensuring all Key Control Assessments and other Risk controls are managed and updated where required;
- Assisting with relationship management for other entities that are part of the whistleblowing programme;
- Assisting with the production of Management Information and reporting
- Assisting with the roll out and management of the mandatory whistleblowing training for people managers;
- Helping with any ad-hoc or on-going projects and awareness campaigns;
- Assisting with delivering ad-hoc training sessions;
- Assisting with the confidential retaliation monitoring process;
- Helping with the monitoring for any regulatory/legislative changes and follow-up actions as required;
- Assisting with the implementation of the whistleblowing programme where required for new entities;
- Attending meetings with Navex (service supplier) and other key business stakeholders.

- Ability to operate discreetly and maintain confidentiality at all times;
- Good organisational/time management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise and adapt well to change in a fast-paced, demanding environment in order to deliver team objectives;
- Strong report writing skills with a keen eye for detail;
- Creative thinker;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including confidence in interactions with colleagues at all levels;
- Robust written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both at all levels of the organisation and externally, engaging a wide range of stakeholders, in particular senior management;
- IT literate.

Key Knowledge and Experience:

- Previous experience in a whistleblowing related role and an investigations background is desirable;
- A capable individual with the relevant applicable skillset and attributes to enable them to operate both independently and as part of the team;
- Ability to proactively manage, organise and prioritise workloads in a fast-paced / demanding environment with proven problem solving skills;
- Experience operating in a risk and controls related and/or project environment would be an advantage;
- Excellent analytical skills.

Qualifications:

- University degree (or equivalent) and/or relevant professional experience
