Aml Investigator

AML Investigator Cardiff £200 per day

My Client in Cardiff is seeking to appoint a temporary AML Investigator to join their busy Fraud & AML Team to provide support and management on a large and varied volume of investigations.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative and fast growing business in a long term role where you will be required to work within a team detecting and preventing money laundering, and terrorist financing. In this role you will use monitoring tools to identify and investigate suspicious activity. You will take necessary actions to alert law enforcement agencies of any suspicious transactions which might indicate money laundering or terrorist financing. You will work closely with the Fraud & AML Team, Customer Operations and other internal counterparts to gather required information for submission. You will need to have excellent investigative skills and be able to present information in a clear and concise manner.

Essential skills:

- Experience working in a Fraud, Risk or Compliance focused role
- Knowledge of Fraud / AML / SARS / NCA / POCA is beneficial
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Be proactive, investigative and accurately record data

Hours: 9.00 - 17.30 Monday to Friday

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months
