J oin our Property and Support Team as a Neighbourhood Officer for an exciting opportunity to contribute to developing innovative solutions aimed at preventing homelessness and meeting housing needs across Wiltshire.

As a Neighbourhood officer you will be the main point of contact for tenants and licensees, ensuring that they understand their new home, their responsibilities, and the council’s obligations as a landlord. You will lead on multi agency working, to target the specific needs of individuals, and to support a move into accommodation that is sustainable.

Th is role includes engaging with tenants who have additional needs and helping to appoint appropriate support from within the service, corporate resources, and external providers. You will effectively manage voids to reduce the need of the Council to use hotels as temporary accommodation, maximise income for all the properties, conduct regular inspections on the properties and lead on tenancy enforcement.
