A Showroom Assistant opportunity has arisen with a leading interior design fabric supplier. This role would be based at the company showroom in Chelsea and will involve working with interior designers and managing their fabric project orders and presentingthem with the extensive range of interior design fabrics.

The business is very well established and has been serving the interior design industry for many years in London and abroad. The role will involve working with clients face to face in the showroom.

The job role will involve:
Processing client fabric orders

Displaying tact and initiative when working with both clients and colleagues

Keeping showroom tidy and well presented

Taking the opportunity to help clients with their schemes/work/advising on what is available through the collections.

**The company require someone with the following attributes**:
A passion for and understanding of têxtiles and fabrics and the language of interior design

A sensitivity for colour, texture and overall design

The ability to work well unsupervised as well as an integral part of the team.

This role could suit a graduate with a related degree alternatively it could also suit someone with current fabric showroom experience who is looking for a new opportunity. The role is offered on a Monday to Friday basis. 9am - 5.30pm Salary £23,000 - £26,000based on experience.
