Showroom Sales Executive

We are recruiting on behalf of a luxury design house founded over 80 years ago. The company have a large collection of fabrics, wallpapers, furniture and carpets and are currently recruiting for a Sales Assistant to be based in their luxury showroom. Therole will function to generate business through providing a professional service and contribute to the daily running of the showroom. This is a professional interior design showroom and is not a retail business.

The role will include:
Looking after all clients in the showroom, helping to put together interior design schemes, advise on suitability of the use of fabrics, wallcoverings, furniture and carpets.

Showing as many products/brands as possible, understanding client's interior design projects and responding to their needs, demonstrating the product with flair and passion

Reinforcing existing relationships with designers

Networking and developing contacts in the showroom

Assist with maintaining sample library

Sample collection and ordering for clients on a daily basis

Maintenance of the showroom

You will need to be:
Really enthusiastic about iconic design, with a good interior design eye and a sensitivity for colour, design, styles and textures.

An experienced Showroom employee with a proven track record (preferably experience in a furniture or fabric/wallcoverings or carpet showroom)

Demonstrably successful if already in sales

Ideally, experienced in the high end residential and/or hospitality interior design markets

A good team player

Self-motivated and well organised

You’ll need to be eligible to live and work in the UK. Salary depending on experience plus monthly bonus which would add on approx £2000+ per year on top of basic based on company performance. Basic salary £27,000 - £31,000.

Full time Monday-Friday. 9:30am -5:30pm based in Chelsea.
