Procurement Specialist hybrid role, based in North Wales, working for an exciting public sector organisation.

An exciting opportunity to join a Procurement team within the largest, most exciting departments in British government.
**Your new role**:
- Your main duties are to conduct competitive and sole source procurement and contract management, with varying levels of complexity up to £20M.
- Pre-sourcing/Sourcing
- Conducting pre-market engagement and initiating/ maintaining contract administration
- Advising and enforcing obligations under various regulations
- You will lead in developing the commercial strategy of the Business Case
- Drafting tender and contract documentation
- Ensuring inclusion of quality, risk, safety and considerations of conflict of interest
- Performing Cost Analysis
- Negotiating commercial terms, conditions and pricing
- Supplier selection
- Contract award and Contract Management
- Accept deliveries (compliant and non-compliant)
- Take enforcement steps as appropriate
- Conduct contractor performance management activity
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Prior experience working in public-sector procurement.
- Willingness to work towards and achieve level 6 Member of CIPS and MCIPS (this will be funded by the organisation)
- Good understanding and working knowledge of Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR2015) and OJEU processes
