Continuous Improvement Coordinator

**Who are we?**
Trelleborg Industrial Solutions (TIS) is a global leader in innovative polymer-based solutions for key industries and critical infrastructure. We are one of three Business Areas within the Trelleborg Group, with a total of about 6 000 employees around the world.
In this newly created role, you will be collating continuous improvement ideas from all departments ready for initial review and selection of ideas to progress. You will create justification packages for CI projects and assist departments by leading CI meetings, maintaining and planning actions for the implementation of a CI project according to a defined timing plan.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for collating, evaluating and preparing a justification package for selected continuous improvement ideas ready for review by managers.
- Assist responsible departments with planning activities to progress the C.I. Project to completion with a defined timing plan. Maintain a log of costs and delay durations with reasons.
- The Continuous Improvements Co-Ordinator will be dedicated in providing the highest level of customer service and answer all enquiries in a timely manner.
- The Continuous Improvements Co-Ordinator will provide assistance to other department members and share knowledge and best practices.
- To assist the technical department during busy periods.
- Communicate with service providers /suppliers to receive quotations for work.
- Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
- Must have the ability to work well in a team and be able to lead meetings and C.I. Project to a timely completion.
**Education and Experience**
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience gained in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Degree qualified in a Manufacturing Engineering qualification would be beneficial.
- Good knowledge of lean manufacturing methods.
- Good knowledge of project management and support functions and team working principles.
- Must have the ability to interact well within a team and be able to lead meetings and projects to a timely completion.
- Proficient with Microsoft office programs.
- Experience of using M3 (ERP system) is beneficial.
You will be an innovative and creative thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will need to drive the C.I projects to successful completion, and therefore, communication is a key part of this role as you will be interactive with our internal partners. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has the ability to communicate professionally with confidence and concisely. Being a team player is a must and you will need to be effective in your influential skills using knowledge and best practice to achieve high standards for the C.I Projects.
Finally, we are also looking for a someone who will contribute towards our way of doing business; but will come up with innovative solutions and understands the meaningful role they play in the overall success of the company.
