Salary £25,000 per annum, plus benefits (Pension contributions, Private Health Cover, Season Ticket Loan (combined with travel subsidy of an additional £1250), Permanent Health Cover and Death in Service Benefit)

**Reporting to: First Junior Clerk**
- To open, sort and distribute the DX to other clerks, staff and barristers.
- When necessary to collect and deliver DX to the Document Exchange.
- To sort and distribute DX to other clerks.
- To deliver papers, couriered documents and mail at least four times a day internally to barristers and staff.
- When required to cover reception.
- Check the diary for RCJ cases and liaise with the relevant barrister in order to assist members of chambers with books, papers and the like when appearing in the RCJ.
- To ensure the photocopiers are always loaded with paper and in working order, liaising with engineers as and when required.
- Lodging documents at Court as and when required.
- When required, to log-in papers to the system.
- When required to amend or update members of chambers diaries.
- To inform the Chambers Director immediately of any complaint received.
- To observe the Chambers Health & Safety Policy.
- To ensure stock cupboards are kept clean and tidy and to liaise with the Administrator in the timely ordering of supplies.
- Timely ordering of stationery and other sundry items.
- To observe and adhere to the chambers policies and procedures.
- To undertake photocopying and printing for barristers either in chambers or in the Inn Libraries.
- Clearing of books and papers to be returned from corridors on a regular daily basis.
- Local deliveries and collection of papers and documents to RCJ, solicitors, other chambers and the like as directed. Assist with internal and external deliveries.
- At the end of the day to ensure that all ground floor windows are securely closed and where necessary locked.
- Any other duty that may from time to time be allocated.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £25,000.00 per year
