Veterinary Receptionist

Welcome to Mandeville We are looking for a client-focused experienced receptionist to join our invaluable front of house team at Mandeville 24-hour Veterinary Hospital in Northolt, on a full-time 40 hourly week basis.

The role involves a high level of face-to-face contact with our clients, so you must have the confidence, empathy, and experience to provide the standard of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients.

The starting salary for our reception position is £11.44 per hour. The role involves varied shift times (no nights) and a 1:4 Saturday rotation.

**About the role**

The successful future colleague will have plenty of client care experience in a fast-paced environment. We want to ensure that while our clinical team support the patients needs, we are also able to offer a warm and friendly welcome to clients, have effective communications internally, and organise our diary so that we can provide the best advice and accurate information to our clients.

We are ideally seeking a team member with previous reception responsibilities within a veterinary or healthcare setting to join our team and can work early and late shifts.

You would need to be computer literate although training will be given, but more importantly we are looking for a friendly, confident, empathetic individual who will be proud to make the reception area, their areas of responsibility and for individuals with a passion for animal welfare and who love being a pivotal part of a large vibrant team.

Mandeville Hospital not only has its own valued client base, but also provides its surrounding Goddard clinics with its invaluable OOH care and support.

There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing our CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and mínimally invasive surgery all available on site.
