Trading since 2010 we are a specialist Lettings Agency who are currently looking to recruit a Receptionist who is passionate about providing market leading customer service at our waterfront location. Mann Island Premier Apartments Ltd offers a bespoke lettings service to the exclusive Mann Island estate with over 200 apartment rentals managed from its luxury on-site office suit. Working closely with our Estate Management team we offer personalised services only possible from a bespoke tailored solution.
**Job Brief**
The receptionist’s job involves greeting customers and welcoming them to the Mann Island estate. As the receptionist is usually the first person that a new customer meets, it is essential that you are warm, friendly, and courteous.
You will be required to handle incoming phone calls, attend to queries raised by customers and support with administrative matters. Your job would need you to be at the reception desk for most of your working hours which are Mon - Fri 9.00am to 5.30pm with a one-hour lunch break.

**Responsibilities**
- Welcome customers to the office. Ensure that you make a positive first impression for the business and get the customers’ visit off to a good start.
- Politely and efficiently handle queries raised by customers. If necessary, you should pass on the customers’ request or query to the relevant staff within the business.
- Deal with the telephone calls that are received. Maintain an up-to-date and accurate record of any actions required.
- Provide customers with information about the Mann Island estate. Promote the company’s services and encourage customers to visit.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean and orderly fashion. You should ensure that the reception desk is not left unattended at any time.
**Requirements**:
- You must have excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to speak on the phone in a polite and professional tone. Your writing skills should also be of a high order.
- You should be familiar with computers and IT systems. This is an essential requirement as the receptionist will be required to operate the computerised support systems. You should know how to accept payments and issue receipts.
- Strong customer service skills are critical to handling this job successfully. You will constantly be interacting with the company’s customers and should have the capability of handling queries efficiently and patiently.
- A high level of organisational and multitasking skills is required. There may be times when you are under pressure as there is a rush of customers waiting. You should have the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
- You should have the ability to work independently. There will be instances, you will be required to handle customer queries and requests on your own. You should have the ability to think on your feet and work without supervision.
