**About The Role**:
The Strategic Support Team at OCS is seeking an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in supporting our strategic business development and retention targets. You'll be essential in crafting higher value, complex bids and creating impactful, winning sales responses and proposals. Opportunities typically fall within the core Facility Management (FM) market sector, involving single services, bundled soft and hard FM, and full Total Facility Management (TFM) services.

This is a new and exciting opportunity within our Customer Solutions Team. The team delivers crucial support to our growth and retention strategy. We are looking for an experienced FM Senior Bid Writer. You will be responsible for the development of impactful customer bespoke winning sales responses and proposals that meet stated objectives highlighting the key features and benefits of the OCS solution. You will have strong communication skills and experience in engaging and working with appropriate stakeholders. You will produce concise proposals delivering consistent “win messaging” and benefits reflecting stated customer objectives.

You'll engage and work with appropriate stakeholders, ensuring the correct processes and governance are followed. Your ability to produce concise proposals, delivering consistent win messaging and benefits to meet specific customer objectives, will be central to your role.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work with the bidding team to develop a winning proposal.
- Write content that 'sells' to the customer and reflects the solution.
- Ensure consistent high-quality submissions.
- Support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Business Development (BD) Knowledge Hub.

**Experience**:

- Experience in facilities bid management.
- Track record of performance delivery in a sales environment.
- Proven ability to work within a team in a highly customer-focused environment.
- Organised, with the ability to influence the sales process.
- Good written and spoken-word communicator.
- Proficient in using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.

**Person Specification**:
**Educational Level**:

- Degree level or equivalent.

**Professional Qualifications**:

- Membership in the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) is desirable.
