Buyers Assistant

**About The Role**:
Our team at Falfish are currently looking for a Buyers Assistant to join their on-site commercial team. Falfish, a prominent seafood supplier based in Cornwall, stands as a leading name in the industry. Over three years ago, Falfish proudly became a part of the Morrisons family. As we continue to uphold our commitment to excellence, we are now seeking a Buyers Assistant to contribute to our

continued success.

As a Buyers Assistant you will play an integral part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of company transactions supporting the commercial team in ensuring the customer comes first.

Responsibilities include:

- Making sure that all data and information is managed and entered to the appropriate timelines
- Processing customer orders and purchase orders on our internal order system
- Generating export paperwork for outbound shipments
- Support the buying teams in their administrative requirements
- Provide a clear and consistent service to the commercial team
- Creation and maintenance of documentation relating to buying and products

**About You**:
If you're a self-motivated individual with the ability to be a strong team player then this could be the role for you. You will have exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all data is accurate. In addition, you will be highly organised enabling efficient and effective support to the team, with a proven ability to deliver to deadlines. You will have:

- Exemplary organisational and time-management skills, enabling efficient handling of multiple responsibilities
- Unwavering attention to detail and a steadfast commitment to your role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, fostering effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Ability to work well in a fast paced team with regular deadlines
- Adaptability to changing circumstances during the days trading
- Excellent computer skills

An advantage but not a requirement:

- Experience in working with sales and purchase order systems
- Experience in handling export process and documentation
- Awareness of legal & regulatory requirements relating to trading/commercial
