**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Answer the telephone and deal with enquiries in a way agreed, seeking advice as necessary to deal with matters outside the remit of the administrator role. This would include taking messages, making decisions on the urgency of the matter and passing onas appropriate.
- Administer a clinic-based system for both psychological assessment and treatment waiting lists
- Ensure clinicians' diary details, meetings and appointments are entered appropriately, to ensure that arrangements are changed in cases of emergency or clinician sickness.
- Act as referrals secretary in routine contact with service users and relatives, GPs and other referrers over administrative matters, ensuring at all times that clinically acceptable professional boundaries are maintained.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above

- An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
- Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
- A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

**You'll have the following skills/experience**:

- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of NHS systems.
- Previous NHS experience.
- System knowledge of Rio or similar patient database.
- Ability to minute meetings.
