**Summary of the Role**

The Animation Producer will be a focal point and oversee the productions of the AVC Immedia animation team. Supporting and working collaboratively with the senior animation team, they will report to the video and animation manager, ensuring projects are delivered on time and budget, as well as ensuring the procedures, processes, and methodologies of how animation productions are developed and delivered to our clients are maintained.

Knowledge of animation is a distinct advantage but we’re also looking for someone with strong communication skills and a personality to match.

**Key Role Responsibilities**:

- Having a deep understanding of the creative vision for a project from client communication and collaboration from the senior animation team.
- Maintain production methodologies and production procedures that provide all essential project information and assets to animators working or requiring access to a project.
- Support in proposal writing and storyboard creation that will inform the creative direction of projects.
- Implement client sign off procedures to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on budget and on time.
- Ensure project assets are organised, streamlined and consistent.
- Work with the animators on an individual and team basis to play to the strengths of skillsets for the requirements of a given project.
- Seek out new tools and vet them to determine if they can be incorporated into workflows
- Participate in early communication with existing and future clients
- Collaborate with the animation team to create and maintain high-level project schedules and deliverables
- Supervise the animation team to ensure that the creative vision for animation is realised and delivered
- Lead our project management system via regular production meetings to ensure all animators are working to schedule, whilst reporting and identifying and concerns that may impact the delivery of final animation.
- Provide overview of current and future looking animation production capacity.
- Actively define and execute short and long-term goals for the department
- Identify areas of inefficiency within the workflow, or training required and work with the video and animation manager to rectify these.
- Help to maintain administrative and work flow tools as required.

**Abilities/Skills/Knowledge**:

- An enthusiastic person who is committed to adding value and delivering excellent customer service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to meet the needs of internal and external customers
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Knowledge of animation softwares and processes advantageous.
- A keen interest in contemporary video and animation trends and styles
