Parity is delighted to be partnered with a renowned public sector client who is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic **Fleet Buyer** to join their team on a fixed-term basis of 18 months.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service to internal customers.
- Order vehicles and plant to ensure lead times are met and costs are to agreed budget.
- Ensuring accuracy and verification of asset ordering and delivery to ensure all vehicles are ordered to the correct specification.
- Manage suppliers to understand lead time and delivery dates, updating key stakeholders throughout.
- Comply with project governance by creating and maintaining purchase records in relation to status, specifications, costs, and timescales and ensure compliance with procurement framework.
- Ensure drivers/users receive adequate training and instruction prior to asset delivery.
- Monitor customer satisfaction by following up on vehicle deliveries with customer satisfaction questionnaires.
- Support the Vehicle Replacement Team manager in tracking, monitoring, and maintaining information on all fleet replacements in line with agreed SLAs & KPI's.

**Requirements**:

- Stakeholder management: excellent communication and engagement
- Project co-ordination/administration
- Experience of project or asset delivery, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality
- Computer literacy, especially in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
