**Fleet Buyer**

Our client is looking for an experienced Fleet Buyer to join their team. Here are some of the key information - To co-ordinate and ensure effective and efficient delivery of our fleet asset replacement programme (vehicles and plant), ensuring that outputs are achieved to time, budget and quality standards. Implements best practice project governance and co-ordination of financial, milestone and risk activities. Working closely with the fleet engineer, internal customers and suppliers (vehicle manufacturer and convertor) to ensure that replacement fleet assets meet operational requirements.

**Key accountabilities for Fleet Buyer**
- Provide great customer service to our internal customers
- Order vehicles and plant to ensure lead times are met and costs are to agreed budget
- Ensure accuracy and verification of asset ordering and delivery process to ensure all vehicles are ordered to correct specification
- Manage suppliers to understand lead times and delivery dates and ensure that key stakeholders are kept informed
- Comply with project governance by creating and maintaining purchase records in relation to status, specifications, costs and timescales and ensure compliance with procurement frameworks
- Ensure drivers / users receive adequate training and instruction prior to asset delivery
- Monitor customer satisfaction by following up vehicle deliveries with customer satisfaction questionnaires
- Support the Vehicle Replacement Team manager in tracking, monitoring and maintaining information on all fleet replacements in line with agreed SLAs & KPI's

**Essential Skills / Knowledge**
- Stakeholder management: excellent communication and engagement
- Project co-ordination / administration
- Experience of project or asset delivery, ensuring deliver to time, cost and quality
- Excellent computer literacy, especially in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint

**Desirable Skills / Knowledge**
- Experience of purchasing / buying
- Experience working to procurement frameworks
- Supplier management
