Reservations Agent

**PREVIOUS HOTEL EXPERIENCE ONLY WITH A KNOWLEDGE OF REZ LYNX**

The Lawrance luxury apartments offer a luxury self-catering experience that combines the service and quality of a boutique hotel with the freedom and privacy of apartment living.

**We are looking for a bubbly enthusiastic reservationist to develop our business further and become part of our small team that is confident in taking control of the day & shift & communication. With a can-do attitude and enjoys hospitality.**

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring a smooth check in/out process for all guests at all times, in line with standards
- Being fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the company
- Ensure that all departments are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and other departments
- Maximise room occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
- Comply with company security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Excellent knowledge and use of booking systems - Word, Outlook & Excel

**Requirements**:

- The best customer care skills.
- Be able to work on your own initiative.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be able to cope well under pressure.
- Previous hotel / Agent / Travel industry experience ideally
- Excellent knowledge of booking systems ideally Rez lynx
- A can-do person with the ability to solve issues with calm and ease
- Flexible to be able to cover holidays' and sickness
- Some weekend work is included
- Works well under pressure

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week
