**Position**: Maths Teacher

**Start date**: January 2023 or ASAP

**Contract type**: Part-time, maternity cover

An Ofsted graded ‘good’ secondary school in Preston require a Maths Teacher, hopefully to start in January 2023, to cover a maternity cover. The Maths Teacher who is going on maternity has a part-time timetable, so you will be required to be available ona Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

The successful Maths Teacher will share the same dedication to provide a continuous high standard of education to all students. The Headteacher of this school encourages high expectations for effort, behaviour and commitment, and students are pushed to makethe most out of their education, whilst maturing in an orderly, disciplined environment.

**Knowledge, skill and qualification requirement:
- Holds Qualified Teacher status
- Capacity to teach Maths across KS3/4
- Previous experience teaching Maths at GCSE level is desirable
- Demonstrated commitment to child safety
- Willingness to learn, be resilient and agile
- Confidence in extending and enriching student learning
- Has a child specific DBS on the update system
- Has excellent classroom management and organisational skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
